A growing list of the organizations we support across three pillars — animals, children &
families, and medical causes. Every gift here is placed by hand and in conversation with the
people on the ground — real partners, doing the quiet, day-to-day work of care.
A 150-acre refuge in New York’s Hudson Valley, rescuing over 5,000 farm animals from cruelty,
neglect, and abandonment for 25 years. We are proud members and have had the privilege of sponsoring
several horses in their care — most recently Rowdy, rescued from an animal hoarding
situation in Saratoga alongside thirteen other horses. When Rowdy arrived he was several hundred pounds
underweight, suffering from rain rot and severely neglected hooves. With daily care and vitamin E
supplementation, he is now comfortable, continues to do well, and is adored by his caregivers.
Paws of War stands beside active-duty military, veterans, and the animals who serve as their
loyal companions. Their mission reaches conflict zones overseas — rescuing animals bonded
with soldiers and reuniting them stateside. We support their rescue operations, including
emergency efforts to bring animals home from active combat areas.
DAWS serves the greater Danbury region from their shelter at 147 Grassy Plain Street in Bethel,
providing care and adoption services for animals in need. Our family has maintained a long-standing
relationship with DAWS — their team describes our support as “continued and unwavering,”
and we are proud to stand behind the work they do every day.
Named in memory of Catherine Violet Hubbard, this Newtown sanctuary enriches the lives of all
beings through compassion and acceptance. Programming includes Monarchs, Meadows & More
(a free butterfly & pollinator showcase), goat yoga, llama nature hikes, and an annual fun run.
Their mission — “creating a kinder and gentler world for all” — is one
we are proud to support with $30,000 in gifts toward their ongoing work.
The country’s leading no-kill organization, working to ensure every shelter animal that
can be treated or adopted finds a home. Their policy: any animal adopted from them will always
be welcome back if circumstances change — they will always have a soft place to land.
We contribute generously to their mission, and family members attended their benefit gala
at the Glass House in September 2024.
Families Network ensures families get the support they need to give their children a safe and
healthy start. We were granted the joyous privilege of judging their Gingerbread Decorating
Contest — an event designed to reduce holiday stress, isolation, and tension at home.
Kits were distributed alongside winter fun ideas and safety handouts; designed to reduce
social isolation and lower the risk of childhood maltreatment during high-pressure seasons.
Every participating family received a grocery gift card — everyone was a winner.
A 501(c)(3) community outreach nonprofit in the Hurricane Valley of southern Utah. No paid employees —
every penny raised goes directly into programs. We support two: the Zion Giving Garden,
providing locally grown produce to families in need, and the Zion Adventure Club,
which addresses elevated substance use and suicide rates among local youth through enriching
outdoor recreation. No overhead. Just care, on the ground.
A 456-bed acute care hospital delivering award-winning care for over 130 years, now part of
Northwell Health. Our family has received impeccable care here over the years — getting
involved was a no-brainer. We started with cardiac care and fellow funding, then extended to
Cleveland Clinic training, the emergency preparedness fund, the Yoriko McClure Surgical Suite,
and bilingual peer navigation services.
The foundation is always open to new partners across all three pillars —
animals, children & families, and medical causes. If you know of an
organization doing the work, we’d love to hear about them.
